Hi! We are DuGlemmerDetAldrig - a Danish adventure firm, and we’re looking to change the way adventures and experiences are found, bought and booked.

DuGlemmerDetAldrig was founded in 2012, and since then we’ve been building a great team of talented people handling sales, marketing and, of course, our platform. At the moment, our team consists of around 10 people, mainly located in our office in Aarhus, Denmark.

The development team currently consists of four people, spread around the world. Our frontender is located in the Philippines, one of our backenders in Israel, another in Greece and finally the lead developer at our office in Denmark.

Our goal
We believe that $200 spent on experiences creates more happiness, than $200 spent on material goods.

But there is a lot more to it, and money is not the point. Through our experiences we want to create a space where relationships grow stronger and memories are created.

We want to bring people closer to each other, and we try to drive those relationships by creating stories to share.

We do this with our experience portal where the best experiences can be found, bought and booked. But most importantly, we want to help our users find the best possible solution on their journey to their next great experience.

This platform of ours… It really needs to be future foundation for how we approach experiences — both in Denmark and abroad.

About us and our projects
The portal consists of multiple projects, some of which are outlined below. We do our best to follow agile practices, and are in the process of implementing Continuous Integration with Continuous Delivery across all of our projects.

We run daily stand-up meetings every morning using Google Hangout, and use Slack for internal communication. All our code is versioned with Git, and hosted on Bitbucket. We use JIRA for project management.

DuGlemmerDetAldrig.dk
DuGlemmerDetAldrig.dk is the main site. This is where our customers visit, find, buy and book their experinces. The site is built with Umbraco and uCommerce in C# and AngularJS.

In the beginning, the site was closer to a regular webshop, than anything else. Because of this, our next development step was to add the ability to book experiences directly on our site. This would help our suppliers focus on what they’re good at: delivering a great experience, and it is a great service to the customer as well, being able to handle everything (except enjoying the experience itself) at one place. This leads us to our next project.

easebooking
A booking system we built from scratch in C# and AngularJS. Everything is built in Web Api v2 with a frontend in AngularJS. Easebooking is built to be an independent booking system tailored to handle booking experiences. DuGlemmerDetAldrig handles booking through easebooking, using the same REST API as the angular frontend, but the booking system is an entity in itself.

What are we looking for?
